The Way of Love
A meditation shaped by the qualities of love in 1 Corinthians 13.

Sit comfortably. Let your breath slow. Allow your heart to soften.

Whisper within:

“Lord, teach me Your way of love.”

“It does not envy, it does not boast,…”

1 Corinthians 13:4–7 (NIV)

Let these words settle. Feel their gentleness and their strength.

Inhale (4 seconds): “Love does not envy…”

Exhale (6 seconds): “Love does not boast…”

Let your breath carry the qualities of love into your body.

Breath cycle: ready.

Consider the other qualities in this passage:

Love is patient.
Love is kind.
Love keeps no record of wrongs.
Love always protects, trusts, hopes, perseveres.

Ask gently:

“Lord, which of these are You forming in me today?”

Take a final deep breath. Let love fill the space within you.

Carry this truth into your day:

“Love never fails.”
